Architect
ST Construction’s main business is; acquisition of land to demolish and rebuild properties intended for hospitality purposes such as hotels, hostels, offices or apartments for short/long term accommodation.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Architect. The main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Plan and implement projects within project scope, budgets and applicable regulations in an efficient and safe manner;
- Issuing of specifications and bills of quantity for smaller scale projects;
- Help define project scope, goals and deliverables;
- Define tasks and required resources;
- Allocate project resources;
- Create schedule(s) and project timelines;
- Supervise project works;
- Track deliverables;
- Support and direct team;
- Liaising with other Company employees, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of projects;
- Ensure all required documentation including manuals and as fitted / as built drawings are available;
- Monitor and report on project progress;
- Present to stakeholders’ reports on progress as well as problems and solutions;
- Attending to commissioning runs or certification activities.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in the building services industry;
- Possess excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills;
- Have a good knowledge of ACAD;
- Be conversant in the use of MS Office applications;
- Be a problem solver and proactive in fulfilling his/her duties;
- Can work on his/her own initiative and independently
- Have good (both written and verbal) communication skills in Maltese and English;
- Have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and workplace safety.
- A valid driving license;
- Able to work flexible hours;
